Designed by ITN Architects, the vision for this striking, free-flowing contemporary extension of a classic Victorian terrace in Clifton Hill was developed by its owners over many years. But the wait was worth it and the owners couldn’t be happier with their new space, which has plenty of room to accommodate their growing children.

The charming original frontage hides a surprisingly vast interior that includes a kids’ haven upstairs with bedrooms, living spaces and even a private deck. Timber walls, timber panelling, abundant light and sun-drenched nooks set the tone for the downstairs extension, which includes a separate parents’ retreat.
